February Recap!

February had a recurring theme here at Intown Doula....Self Love! Everything we did this month we did for ourselves because we need to learn to take care of us in order to take care of everyone else and by we, that means all of you as well! We cannot dedicate our time and effort into someone or something wholeheartedly until we had clear minds and replenished bodies!

February was a time to Treat Yo'self with a little Skin Care 101 from Lil Dyer Cobbs, a time to strip down (literally!) and embrace your body with some beautiful encouragement from MMT's Boudoir Photo Session, and wind it down with a bit of relaxation (and lots of tea) with Chef Joe Cardinale!

Intown Doula launched into February with My Breast Start so we can now offer postpartum services for our clients and nothing could've been better than adding the five new postpartum doulas to our company! We aligned with Breastfeed Atlanta and we welcomed Aida Reluzco-Stokes to our team...

One of the biggest highlights this month for Intown Doula was our annual Galentine's Day Brunch!  Galentine’s Day is our client appreciation event, where past and present clients get to mingle over brunch, this year at Apres Diem in Midtown Atlanta. Check out the festivities captured by Heather Goodbread Photography

We want to send special shout-outs to our Premier Sponsors: Meagan O. Photography, Baby Sleep Club with Devon Clement, Drea James Designs, as well as our Swag Sponsors: Fig & Flower, Wellness with Jenn, Seraphim Skin Care, Pure Barre Morningside, San Francisco Coffee Roasters, Casseroles, Heidi Oley of Studio Oliver, Natural Body Spa, and Bliss Spa

We also want to send special shout-outs to our Intown Doula clients. We couldn't have had a better day planned than with all of you!

This month Intown Doula opened registration for our No Child Wet Behind race!  For those of you unfamiliar with this event, you can read all the details about No Child Wet Behind and how you can help support families in diaper need in your area. May 21, 2016 is a nationwide fundraiser event and you can find your local chapter and learn more about this project.

We also started our Couch-to-5k running group with free wellness advice from Sara Wiles from hisarawiles.com.  For those of you who feel you need a little reminder or some daily motivation, we got you! Read up on how to TREAT YO'SELF the Intown way and contact us for more information on services we provide.

And lastly...Here is a picture of the McIntyres (minus 1!) enjoying lunch at the Highland Bakery as they make important decisions about the future home of Intown Doula. You'll have to check back to find out what this means! Until then, you can find us on Instagram and Facebook.
